BISTRO
Bioinformatics Student Research Hour (BISTRO)
Half hour talks about recent and ongoing research by current Ph.D. and Masters degree students from the UM Bioinformatics Program.
These talks offer work in progress, and present a continuing, rather than a completed story. There will be time for questions and a social hour afterwards. Our goal is to have everyone who has already passed the Ph.D. qualifying exam speak about their research once in each academic year, and Master’s degree students speak about their summer research experiences. The remaining students will be scheduled in the Winter term.
