Biography:
Dr. Feldman's laboratory focuses on the role of growth factors in neuronal growth and neuroprotection. The lab is specifically interested in the neurotrophic properties of the insulin-like growth factors I and II (IGF-I, IGF-II). They use molecular biology, gene therapy and protein biochemistry in their research. The lab primarily studies Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and Diabetic Neuropathy.
